To be a number one leader of furniture manufacturer in Thailand, we have been using European Standard Class 1 (E1) to our total wooden materials for more than 3 years. We were restructuring our plants to suit this objective as the first and the only manufacturer in Thailand who are totally using European Standard Class 1.
“SB Furniture” the first manufacturer of furniture in Thailand was explored and introduced to use totally raw wooden material under European Standard Class 1 (E1). The E1 material is friendly furniture. It would not irritate to human lung health.
European Standard Class 1 (E1) is a worldwide standard for particle and medium density fiber board (MDF) which contains chemical less than 0.005% according to EN120:1994 6221-1 and JIS A5905 standard. General particle and MDF in the furniture industry contains more than 6 times of the hazardous chemical!!
Because of the seriousness of the current pollution problem worldwide, it directly impacts to the human lifestyle. Researches from many countries show chemical or paints from house or home furniture can cause asthma and respiratory allergy.
